Claudine Ayers

Claudine "Dean" Ayers, 74, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2025, in Antioch, California. Born on December 31, 1950, in Tulare, California, she lived a vibrant and joy-filled life rooted in faith, family, and friendship.

Claudine was the beloved daughter of Claude "Sonny" Thompson and Wanda Thompson. She grew up surrounded by love and laughter alongside her siblings Charlene Thompson and Rex Thompson. Her close-knit family remained an important part of her life throughout the years.

She married John Ayers, with whom she shared a deep and enduring bond. Together they built a life full of adventure and affection. One of their favorite traditions was traveling to Gold Beach, Oregon-a place that held special meaning for them both. They also shared a memorable trip to Disneyland with their daughter and grandson to celebrate the park's 50th anniversary-an experience Claudine cherished deeply.

A devoted mother to Bridgette Solana and mother-in-law to Louis Solana, Claudine found immense joy in her role as grandmother to Louis Solana III. She adored spending time with her grandson-playing games together and making egg salad sandwiches were among her favorite shared pastimes.

Claudine was known for her outgoing spirit and warm personality. She had a passion for painting and baking, often sharing her creations with those around her. Her playful side shone through in her unique hobby of collecting celebrity autographs-a pursuit she approached with enthusiasm and humor.

A lifelong fan of Elvis Presley, Claudine proudly considered herself his number one fan. She also cheered passionately for the San Francisco 49ers and the Golden State Warriors, never missing an opportunity to support her favorite teams.

Her faith was central to her life. A humble Christian woman, Claudine practiced her beliefs at Lighthouse Baptist Church, where she found spiritual strength and community.

Claudine's legacy lives on through those who loved her: her daughter Bridgette Solana; son-in-law Louis Solana; grandson Louis Solana III; sister Charlene Thompson; brother Rex Thompson; sister-in-law Kathy Thompson; niece Kristyna Thompson; and many others whose lives she touched with kindness and joy.

She now joins in eternal rest with her beloved husband John Ayers and her parents Claude "Sonny" Thompson and Wanda Thompson.

May Claudine's memory bring comfort to all who knew her and may the warmth of her spirit continue to shine in the hearts of those she loved. A Celebration of Life will be held on October 18, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 03:00 PM at Lighthouse Baptist Church 2250 Jeffery Way
