Claudine Russell Obituary
Burial will be in Kilgore Memorial Gardens Cemetery under direction of Community Funeral Home of Tyler. Mrs. Russell died Feb. 13, 2015, at The Hospice of East Texas.
She was born July 26, 1912, in Ore City and had resided in Tyler. She attended Pemberton High School, Texas College and Prairie View A&M College. She was a member of Upper Room Baptist Church, superintendent of Sunday school, member of the Mission Society and Texas Education Extension Club. Mrs. Russell worked as a teacher.
She was preceded in death by her husband and siblings.
Survivors include special nieces, Linda K. Snell, Tyler, and Benthia Dotch, Sherman Oaks, California.
Viewing will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday. Family will receive friends Friday, Feb. 20, 2015, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Community Funeral Home of Tyler.
