We were friends for a short time while in Colorado, but he will be missed. Im so sorry for your loss. All my love.

My dear friends, I am so sorry to hear this news. Your family has always been one of the most treasured friendships we have ever had, and I remember fun memories with Clay when we were children. Such a beautiful soul, and a light to all in the room. God has His arms around him, and I pray that you find joy in knowing that you will see him again when The Lord calls us home. My thoughts, prayers, and love are with you always.

My families thoughts and prayers are with you all. I got to know Clay in 2002 in the Police academy and I had the honor to work with him on Patrol. We both promoted to Detective and I was lucky to work with him at District 3. His smile will be missed.

I really enjoyed working with Clay. We were both assigned to the District 3 Detective unit at the Aurora Police Department. My favorite memory is when Clay came into my cubicle area to visit like he often did, on this occasion Clay leaned against my desk near a candle I had burning. A few minutes later Clay started yelling that he was burning! The candle was melting his favorite fleece vest causing a large hole in the back!:) We laughed about it for months as Clay mourned the loss of the vest he had worn daily.

Clay left an impression on all those he met at the Aurora Police Department. Clay and I were in the same Academy class and I am shocked to hear the news. May he rest in peace and know that his memory will live on. Clay had a unique dry sense of humor and outlook on life which will sorely be missed.

Jack, Pat and family: Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this time. We loved Clay and you and will continue to lift you up in prayer.

Clay was and always will be very special to me, I was so distraught hearing this news. My heart goes out to Clay's family and especially to his daughter Abby. He will always be a part of you, cherish the memories you have and know he is watching over you with loads of pride. XO

Clay and I met in the Police Academy and soon became very good friends and partners fighting crime. I have a lot of fond memories, especially those that came from our line of work on the graveyard shift!! I along with many others will miss you Clay, and our thoughts and prayers will be with the family.
