Clay was one of the very first people I remember coming across at the track his name always stood out to me. He quickly became close to me from there. I remember my first national in Phoenix Az I was still novice and I could not stop falling in the rocky warm up section Clay didn´t hesitate to show me what I was doing wrong and how to slide out every two seconds. He was a brother to my cousins and he enjoyed helping my family. When Clay showed up to the house there truly was never a dull moment he was always cracking jokes and had a smile that light the whole room up you guys raised an amazing son and he touched people in so many ways rest easy Clay see you later

Clay was one of the sweetest, well mannered, and all around good kids I have ever met. He was such a joy to be around and always gave his best at everything he did. His smile would light up the room. He will be very missed by us all. Love the Tabatt family.

Clay was an absolute joy to teach and brought such positivity and humor into the classroom. Whether it was playing a practical joke on me or bringing food to share with the entire class, Clay was always respectful, funny, and positive. His presence and impact in my classroom will never be forgotten.

Clay was such a great kid. He was a student at our school from kindergarten through 6th grade. I remember him as being cute, smart, and so respectful. He modeled the type of behavior every teacher and school administrator wishes for. His passing deeply saddens me. Prayers for his family.
