I have very fond memories of Visiting Mr. Cooley with his sons Chris and Eric when we were younger. He was always such a caring and funny guy. Chris and Eric definitely have his sense of humor. You will be missed by many.

I remember getting these uniforms from my Uncle Clay when he was stationed in Germany. My brother Gordon and I wearing them in the picture. Then him coming home and working on the car he had shipped back to the states. My last time seeing him was a hunting trip in upstate NY back in 2011 I think LOL. We will all miss him dearly, God bless and watch over him.

My memories of Clay go back to 1997 when he and his crew did renovation on our house. Noontime lunch breaks in the back yard were spent in long discussions with Jim Winkelman solving problems of the world or ? His work often took him into dinnertime with more conversations. I see his work and innovative ideas around me all the time. Hi legacy for sure.

My condolences to the Cooley family. He built my house on Laurel Beach across the street from his house! He was a master and to this day people comment on my beautiful and well built home. His personal touch is everywhere. RIP Clay
