I have fond memories of Clayton from childhood and throughout my adult years. He was always fun to talk to at family reunions and was very supportive when my parents died. His stories will be remember for generations to come.

Uncle Clayton, as one person has stated, was "one of a kind!" He was fun-loving and yet profound at times, too. I have memories of him from so many places: on the farm, in Santa Cruz, in Washington. From his preaching, we all knew how much he loved his Lord. He liked telling jokes and usually had one ready at all times. He also loved to send out "very different" birthday cards. I'll miss those cards, but most of all I'll miss him. How thankful I am knowing we'll see him again in the morning.
