Eleanor, Norm, Jackie and Families:
It was with extreme sadness and shock that I learned on Thursday morning, via your telephone call, of Gordie's passing. I have many, many fond memories of him as a dedicated friend, co-worker and foreman throughout all my years working with him at AGT/ TELUS. He was never too busy to lend a helping hand, be it at work, or outside of the job. Gord always had a smile on his face and a good word for everyone. Even in retirement we still kept in touch and he enjoyed talking about his family and he was so proud of you all for your accomplishments in life. He was truly an exceptional person, and he has left a void in many people's lives that will be hard to fill.
Eleanor, Norm, Jackie: My sincere condolences. May you be comforted by the many happy days and the memories you have of your Husband / Father / Grandfather, as you walk through the days ahead knowing that you made Gordie a very happy and proud man.
Rest in peace Gordie, your rest has been well earned.
