Our thought and prayers are with Clayton's family. We enjoyed visiting with him at Good Shepherd, while visiting my mother, Loretta Atwater. And he was so kind and thoughtful to our grandchildren during our visits.
With sympathy,

My deepest sympathies to all of Clayton`s family and friends. It was my pleasure to have known him while he resided in Meadow Wood. Always a dear, sweet kind man to all around him. The world was surely a better place for having had him in it. May you all find great comfort in sweet memories.

Clayton was my sister-in-law's dad and such a nice, kind man. I recall when I was 16 and took my driving test in Seymour, he was there for another reason, and quite frankly really did not know me extremely well, but he waited until I was done taking my driving test to congratulate me when I passed. That was 25 years ago, and I'll never forget that. He could have simply left to go on with his day, but there he was when I returned. Little things like that say a lot about someone, and Clayton was someone special.

To all of my cousins,
Please know that I'm there with you in thought and prayer. Your Dad was the best Uncle to me and so special to many more people. My memories of him are precious and keep him alive in my heart. I hope your memories do the same for you. Pete and I will miss our annual visits with him. We always had a good laugh. Love

My Grandpa will be truly missed by many. He was the hardest working man I knew and taught this city girl so many things by just being himself. I loved my upbringing and spending summers riding horses and playing in the creek and in the barns. He loved every living thing and was gentle and kind. I will miss his sparkling blue eyes and his life lessons that I learned without him knowing. See you on the other side Grandpa Love, Joda Joy

Dear Hogan family:
I was so sorry to hear of Clayton's passing. My Husband and I met him years ago on a trailride. We realize we were all from the same area. Also this past year at Good Sheperd We would visit at times while we were there to see my Dad. Clayton was A Kind and Soft Spoken Man.
