Deepest condolence to the Kenny Family.
I met Clayton in the early 80's to rent his cabin, and that
went on for 30 years or so. And every one of those years
was special ...due to Clayton. Always a gentleman when
i talked to him and the part of his life that i witnessed at
Green Lake, was the wilderness part.
Always doing work on his cottages..driving his boat..etc
He really really enjoyed the outside.

My friends and i will miss him greatly.

I just looked up Clayton to visit only to learn he passed years ago. Devastating. He was a kind man and my brother Danny George and I (Diane George) rented cottages at Green Lake in Calabogie for many many years. They were some of the best years of our lives. I guess I will see him on the other side. Prayers to the family. Clayton was a wonderful man. He will be sadly missed. I used to meet him on Sparks Street to get the keys and settle the rent. We always shared a laugh.

A year has gone by so quickly. Anniversaries marking the loss of a loved one are always such a difficult time. As the weeks and months have passed and you have returned to day to day life, I hope you will continue to feel the comfort and support of family and friends. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Your Dad was such a wonderful man and is still and will always be loved and missed.
Sincerely,
Kelly FitzGerald-Evoy

Doris and Clayton's boys and their families - my very deepest sympathy in your loss and my loss too. The Hunters from Montreal & the Kennys had a closeness unknown to me until probably the late 1900s when a coincidence brought back a memorable relationship which then involved me.
Many happy visits & meals were exchanged at Carleton Place & Otter Lake by Bill , Clayton, Doris & me. Do you remember Doris?
Holding onto fond memories will help you get through this difficult time.
God bless all of you who are suffering.

Dear John, Jamie, Bill and families, I was so so sad to hear about your darling dad. Very fond memories at the bunkhouse and your mom and dad's beautiful dispositions. I always loved running in to your dad on the main street of CP, he always had a hug and we shared a laugh. He will be truly missed and although I am unable to attend the celebration of his life, I send my prayers and hugs to you all! Take care during this very sad and difficult time. Love Karen Duncan xo

I know that I, like many of Clay's Transport Canada colleagues, are very saddened by his passing. However, he has left us with many very wonderful memories. He was an absolute joy to work with and a barrel of fun socially. Just thinking of him puts a smile on my face. Rest in peace old friend.

So shocked and sorry to hear of Clayton's passing. Fred and I saw him often, and Fred considered Clayton his oldest and best friend. I'm so glad he came with us a few weeks ago to the Army Navy, although I wish I had a camera and took one last picture of the two of them together. He will be dearly missed.
