My sweet Cleanza, You were the little sister I never had. You blossomed into a smart, savvy business woman, who took control of the world and made it a better place. I alway think of how beautiful you were the last time I saw you. I think of you often and I will forever miss you, your quick wit, and the laughter we shared. My love for you is as strong today as it ever was. Rest in peace lil sis.

My heart is very heavy right now. I was looking Cleanza up because we will be moving back to the Tampa area. She was our agent many years ago. While looking her up, I came across this, but did not want to believe it was our Cleanza, until I saw her picture. It is hard for me to believe that Cleanza is no longer with us. Words cannot express my sadness right now. She was more than an agent to us, she was our friend. Cleanza is with God right now, but she is going to be missed by so many.

I worked with Cleanza at Aetna in Hartford 25 years ago, and we became very close friends. She loved and adored her mom, siblings, sorority sisters and all her family and friends in Huntsville. She would spin such wonderful stories about you all to me on our frequent business trips and long hours on the road. You were all well loved by Clea. I am so sorry for your loss.

I am extremely saddened to learn of Cleanza passing. She was very dear to our family and always kind to me. I will never forget her unrelenting support when my father, Earl Lee and grandmother, Sibbieo, passed away in 2011. May her work and love of life live on in each and everyone of us.
All my love,

My condolences to the family. I met Cleanza during a FAMU/BCC classic. I noticed her attitude as a confident realtor and as a fellow realtor (black, female)I was determined to talk with (similar to as her Warren Sapp meeting). She was so warm and friendly and she had a true desire to impart wisdom to me. She knew the struggle of being a minority and did not try to deny it or minimize it, but instead told me how she constantly worked around it. I've only talked to her a couple of times since, but her wisdom stayed in my spirit. She even remembered me when I called her out of the blue many years later and we talked like old friends. I'll always appreciate and cherish my chance meeting with this special lady.

Cleanza, the true measure of a person is seen through the eyes of others. What good things that's done in life will not die with an earthly body, but will live on forever. We have found in you a true friend who had a genuine love for others with a generosity and energy that could never end. You opened your heart to us and filled us with pride for ever having known you. We know you only in this life, but you now reside in a much better place, a place where we all are waiting to go. The words of Stephen Grellet are still true today: I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good thing, therefore, that I can do or any kindness I can show to any fellow human being let me do it now. Let me not defer nor neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.
You have never deferred or neglected kindness. You shall not pass this way again and we will miss you dearly

Cleanza was a great example of kindness and professionalism amongst her colleagues in real estate in the Tampa Bay area. We held her in the highest regard and will truly miss her. May God bless her family - her legacy lives on and we know she is helping the Lord with homes up in Heaven. Doug and Nancy Wood

I am so so so sorry to hear about Clea. We bonded over the fact that we were born on the exact same day, and often joked about how "good we looked!"
She was a consummate professional, and a strong, loving woman. May she Rest in Peace.

Baye, my soror, my roommate, my friend. I've always felt we 'came into womanhood' together at our apartment at Mountain Top. You, got your first job at the Aetna and I got mine at WBRC TV-6. You have shared your beautiful spirit with so many and it lives in all the paths you blazed and people you touched. I love you.

I will always love you and cherish the times that we shared together. You were a rare individual that touched the lives of many many people. Your beauty inside and out radiated whenever anyone was around you. I am deeply deeply sadden by your passing. I will make sure your life was not in vain, and will live my life with the same compassion, love and wisdom that you instilled in your life. You are a tough act to follow, but I will try. I love and miss you...your friend of 23 years, Keisha
