Clelon Mason

Uncle Carnes, Mike, Chuck, Paula, Shelley and Sylvia (mom), I rememember those holidays as a child when we would visit Grand-daddy and Granny and how the pleasant aroma of fresh homemade rolls added such an inviting atmosphere to the open arms they presented us --the grand-children. Those days are gone, missed but cherished by the ones who will love them and thank them for the lessons given by a loving family. God Bless you all.

Carnes and Paula and all my other cousins, please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I have just recently "found" Paula and I so wish we all could get together. I barely remember you guys but so feel a kinship. I remember Clelon and always loved to talk with her at reunions. Please accept my sympathy in the loss of your mother. May the good Lord grant you peace during this difficult time.

Sylvia, Carnes, Mike, Gary, Chuck, Paula and Shelley...it has been so long since I've seen any of you, but I want you all to know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Clelon, as you know was one of Mom's best friends, and I can imagine the two of them now in heaven, strolling around, laughing and talking and sharing in the joy and beauty of being in the presence of our Savior...as well as so many others who have gone on before...including Daddy. I am sorry I couldn't be there, but please know we love you all and will share in your grief, but also rejoice with you in the knowledge that she is no longer suffering. The last time Dave, the boys, and I as a family, saw Clelon (which was several years ago) she fixed us a huge breakfast just because she wanted to and was still able to. I have so many good memories of her and Charles. They were like second parents to us Sorrells kids:)... We love you all. Linda (Sorrells) Voltz

My deepest sympathy

I got to know Mrs Mason during her stay at the Cambridge House, and just want to you know what a blessing she was to me. We'd gather in the Day Room and sing hymns, she loved it. I miss seeing her and am so sorry for your loss. The family is in my prayers.
