My deepest condolences and prayers for David and the entire Cobb family. Your Dad was a great man and a very dear friend to my late Father Col. James H Dunn. Mr. Cobb loved flying with my Dad and like wise my Dad loved flying with Mr. Cobb. He will be Greatly missed and I wish I could come up with the words to somehow comfort his family but I all I know how to do is pray knowing that he is with Our Lord and that him and my late Father are flying in Heaven together.

Mr Cobb and my dad, Ralph Smith, worked together in the Mississippi ANG for many years. Our country owes a lot to those men who served so faithfully. May God comfort you all in your loss.

Will always cherish the memory of flying missions with Cliff. His love of country, dedication to duty and remarkable knowledge were of immense value. His friendship was genuine and unwavering, and he truly earned the grand old title of "gentleman".
