Gary Keith was born in Salt Lake City, Utah June 12, 1948 to Margaret Afton & Clifford Edmond Keith. He died in a Phoenix Arizona hospital following what should have been minor surgery. Gary grew up in Salt Lake City and Blackfoot, Idaho. He was an army veteran attached to the airborne and served a tour in Viet Nam. When Private Keith returned from Viet Nam he had been promoted to Sgt. He was discharged with honor commendations in 1970. Gary moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1983 where he remained up to the time of his death. For the past 25 years Gary was owner of International Leasing in Tempe, AZ. Gary is survived by his wife Leslie, daughters: Laura, Tracy, Charlotte, Cassidy, Lindsay and Danielle; Mother: Margaret; brothers: Paul and Jess, sisters: Connie and Patty; 6 grandchildren: and many more friends and family. Gary is preceded in death by his father and one brother, Darrell. He will be forever missed and loved.

A Celebration of Life service for Gary will be held Monday, Dec. 28, 2009 at 6:00 pm at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 E. Broadway Road, Mesa, AZ 85206. For those of you who would like to make a donation in lieu of flowers the family is requesting contributions in Gary's name to "The Emily Center" c/o the Phoenix Children's Hospital, 1919 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85016. Arrangements were entrusted to Mariposa Gardens Funeral Care, Mesa, Arizona. (480) 830-4422.
