CLIFFORD KENDALL

Enjoyed our years of working together as founders of the
Montgomery Community Foundation and support of Montgomery College. He was a great leader and it will be
a great loss for all of us and our State

Cliff was an inspiration to all who knew him. He was a person of with the rare combination of great intelligence and great compassion. It was a privilege to know and work with him. My sympathies to his wonderful wife and family.

I had the honor and pleasure of serving with Cliff on the Board of Regents of the University System of Maryland. He was tough and smart and warm and welcoming at the same time. There was no one else quite like him. I will really miss him.

I will always remember Mr.Kendall fondly. He was one of the best employers I worked for. He always treated everyone with great respect. I grew professionally by leaps and bounds while working at CDSI, something I will never forget.

God bless you, Cliff, and thanks for having toughed my life.

He enthusiastically gave his time, his energy, his spirit, and his resources to improve the business climate and educational opportunities in Maryland and the greater DC area. Mr. Kendall is the best example of what it means to be a community entrepreneur. I learned something from every interaction I had with Cliff while I was president of Montgomery College.

In a very short time after you meet Cliff, you realize what a life's gift you received. Wendy and I will miss him dearly.

I met Cliff when I joined the USMF Board and was so struck by not only his business acumen but his warmth and his true inner strength that guided his desire to help others gain access to a quality education. We will miss him terribly, but his legacy will truly live on.

We remember Cliff's kind and generous spirit and easy smile that put everyone to ease. We will always think of him with fondness-and know that the love shared with Camille is an example for all of us to follow. Sending much love to Camille and family,

Cliff was a really good guy. I was honored to know him and be a Maryland University Trustee with him. Our discussions about the Terp athletic programs were always enjoyable. He leaves an surpassed legacy, and his impact will continue to be felt. Terrific person! Rich Novak
