Kay and family- You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this time of your great loss. Cliff was a very kind, thoughtful man to all who passed through his live. Although it has been a long time, I often think of the time spent with him each day riding to and from work in Sioux Falls.

Aunt Kay (and family),

I was so very very sorry to learn of Uncle Clif's passing. He was and always will be my favorit uncle. I spent my whole life (and perhaps to some degree was sucessful) wanting to grow up to be like him. My biggest rgret of course is that I never really expressed this to him.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend services, but I will be theere in spirit.

from Gail and Willis Hanna ---- Daughter Karen lives in Sturgis and let us know of the obituary for Cliff that was in the Rapid City Journal. We are sorry that he is gone. He will be missed. I reminded Karen of how you folks kept our three chickens when you lived on the farm near Sioux Falls.
Cliff said that heer one chicken committed Hari Kari because it landed in the water in the stock tank and drowned. Goodness, your 2990 Christmas card still lays on my desk just because I lost your adress. When we rec'd your card I couldn't find the one prepared for you ---what a confusion. It was Cliff who encouragedand got meto quit my smoking. I now have Asthma due to the cigarettes. If only someone had told us the dangers of smoking waaay back then. Gail
