I was a patient of Dr. Wiethoff. He was my surgeon from the age of 17 till he retired. He saved my life several times. I had so many surgeries that I can't count them all. But he pulled me thru them all. He was always the best, kindest person that I ever met. I thank you for so much Dr. Wiethoff. Now you can go home and enjoy your eternity with your wife, and ever lasting peace.

John, Ross, PArker and Cam,
I was so sorry to hear about your Dad and Grandad. I regret not coming down on Sunday but only learned of Cliff's passing on Tuesday. He was always very nice to me the few times I had met him. I know you will miss him very much. After reading his obituary I would say he had a wonderful and very fullfilling life..... of which you all contributed to in a loving and devoted way.
Stay in touch and again I am sorry I was not there in your time of grief.
Sincerely, Patti, Lindsey & Mallory Davis

I shall never forget the kindness Dr. Wiethoff showed toward me the 10 years I worked at Schneck Memorial Hospital. His smile and jovial personality was contagious. I can still hear him singing as he made his way throughout the hospital. I am thankful he was a part of my nursing career.

My condolences to the entire family at this time of loss. I'll remember his nice smile, and the slow dance at Churchill Downs, and scrubbing my first gallbladder surgery with him ...(like butter)! I also had a few years delivering the rose bushes that Helen Fewell provided, because he would sing, "I never promised you a rose garden", I believe that is why, with those two you never quite got all the story. Any one medically that worked with him is feeling the loss. Especially my mother, Carmen Vehslage who has many more fond memories from all the years working with him.
God's Peace to you all.

He worked for my grandpa in the Demas candy and soda store in the 1930s and was a kind and gracious friend to our family; much love to the entire Wiethoff family for sharing him with us for so many many productive and loving years. Jim King (grandson of James Demas)
