Clinton Gann Obituary
Clint will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his wife, Traci, his two sons, Grady and Greyson, and his mother, Marilyn Oden. He is also survived by his twin sister Carol Joy and Jay Conner of Morehead City, NC, and his brothers Nolan Gann, Gilbert Gann, and Joe and Lisa Gann, all of Wichita Falls. Clint leaves behind a host of beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and FC Camp kids who will cherish his memory.
Clint's educational journey began at Harrell Elementary School and continued at Hirschi High School. He leaves behind many childhood friends he still cherishes. He furthered his education at Stephen F. Austin State University, where he majored in Communications and made life-long friends. Clint had careers in insurance claims and lighting sales before he became a dad and PTA volunteer extraordinaire.
Clint loved Jesus more than anything and his boys were a close second. They inspired him to write a book about his fatherhood adventures, "More than a Hero". Clint had a great ability to connect people to each other and to stay connected to people he met throughout his life and from many different parts of his life. Clint enjoyed music and had many fond memories of performing with Silverado and Wolf Ridge, but family singing times top them all. Clint's warm smile, kind heart, and playful wit will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. It appears that his nephew Aaron has at least temporarily taken up his mantle in posting tri-bonds on Facebook so you don't have to miss that.
A ceremony to celebrate Clint's life will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023, at 2 pm at the Lake Cities Church of Christ building located at 280 Indian Creek Drive, Trophy Club, Texas 76262. We invite you to join us in worship and celebration as we honor Clint's memory. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 4-8pm at the Gann's home, 909 Carousel Dr. Bedford, Texas 76021.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in memory of Clint be made to ChristianWorks for Children - Adoption Works, Sacred Selections Adoption Facilitators, or any adoption ministry of your choice. Your support will help make a difference in the lives of children and families.

I loved chatting with Clint - funny, witty, and full of family memories. He told me many stories of my mom's childhood, it was such a treasure! He knew my love of the Dallas Stars and her love of Coca Cola and brought me a glass Dallas Stars Coca Cola bottle! One of the most thoughtful gifts I've ever received.
I know he will be missed. My prayers go out to those closest to him, heaven Gaines a beautiful angel!

Uncle Kick, words cannot express the most amazing and profound impact that you have had on my life. You were always there with the best advice, the warmest hugs and the corniest dad jokes to make me laugh. I look back on my childhood fondly, especially through the toughest times because you and Aunt Traci were there to love and guide me through. If it's true that it takes a village, you should know that you will always be such an impactful and important part of mine. I love you dearly, and I trust in the God we serve that I'll see you again. Every time Clint would come in for food, I never quite knew what I was getting into...He always had SOMETHING to say...every. single. time. It could be anything from Tri-Bonds, to Dad jokes, or just random funny thoughts that had popped in his head that day. He would also often ask how I was doing, and was happy to listen no matter how good or bad my day was going. He would also ask if he could pray for anyone I was working with that day...Sometimes I knew an employee´s struggles and would let him know, and others not so much. He was such a funny and genuine guy, and I sure am gonna miss the heck outta him

We want to send our love to Tracy the boys and all the family. The message on FB was uplifting to us it is a difficult time but thank you for your testimony you did. It made his friends and church family be comforted prayers for you will continue we were sad not to be able to attend the memorial love to all you are part of our family

How can one sum up a friendship with Clint? You simply cannot. He was an incredible gem of a man, and I was honored to know him. He made me smile from the minute I met him, and made me laugh from minute two.
I sit here and hand God my hurt at our Earthly loss, submitting to His glory and plan and not my own understanding.
How the angels must be rejoicing but oh how I will miss my friend.
Though I don´t understand it
I will worship with my pain
You are God, you are worthy
You are with me all the way
So while I wait I will worship

God be with you and bless you during this difficult time! I remember the first time we met Clint. We were standing in line to register the kids at Meadowcreek. I think it was for 1st grade. From that day forward I can assure you he did NOT miss many of the kids events or activities! He was always front row cheering the kids on! I was shocked and sadden in Jan when we ran into him in the infusion center getting his first chemo. I knew his strong faith would lead his journey and I know it will continue to guide his loving family!

Ah Traci ~ I will always be grateful to you for introducing me to Clint. Although Clint and I were "just" on-line friends, I felt as close to him as I do to good friends I see daily. I will miss his humor, his sharp mind, his love of family, and his friendship. Ever since I was a kid at North Beach I've always had love for and been a fan of Clint & Traci. In fact, I know that type of love is specifically Philea because of Clint & Traci teaching the teen class and covering the 4 types of love in the Bible over a month long series. I have joy in my life from knowing Clint and for knowing that I was ever able to make him laugh. He is great and will be missed by all.

I first met Clint in the late 80´s/early 90´s in Annandale. We worshipped together and became friends. He enjoyed music and he was a great example to me of a Christian man and husband. Later on we met up again on Facebook and spent hours doing Tri-Bond quizzes. We shared memories of those who have gone on before us and we talked about our favorite hymns that help us understand what makes life better, serving and praising our Lord.
I will miss my friend.

Clint never failed to make me smile and make me laugh. Even though we are technically not related he was just like family to me. I will miss Clint´s Sunday morning "shout outs" to Jeff Brooks during announcements. He was loved very much, and will be missed greatly.

We were newcomers at Lake Cities Church of Christ two years ago and were welcomed with warm hugs and smiles from Clint to make us feel right at home. From then on, his funny jokes and always positive attitude was contagious and welcome. Surely he will be making smiles in Heaven with our past loved ones as well. We will miss you, Clint and Heaven just got richer with your presence.

I met Clint and his precious sister Carol in 1st grade at Harrell Elementary. Clint was the nicest guy and I will miss his quick wit. What a joy it must be for the Lord to welcome his good and faithful servant. Much love to his family.
