A dear Man. Though I only new him in person for short periods of time, they were wonderful moments. In '97 he traveled all the way to Rio, Brazil to visit some of his grand-children, which must have been strenuous for him.
It will be a joy to get to know him better "On the Other Side". Til then, Bobby!

Jean joins me in extending our sympathy to all Bobby's family.
As I said in an email to Tracy, we have not seen Bobby in over ten years but we remember him with admiration. He was a close friend of my father, who passed away in 2000 at the age of 97. They loved breeding and racing outstanding thoroughbreds and I remember so well as a child watching them with their binoculars raised at Knutsford Park. Not too many of their generation still around - lets hope that we inherited some of those good genes.
Life marches on.
One love,
Your son Keene Alexander

I think the priest at your funeral said it best Dad. He said that because you'd been around and in our lives for so long you'd become as necessary to our lives as breathing and eating and now that you're gone, it really hasn't registered yet. We'll never really acknowledge the fact that you're not here, 'cos you'll always be with us (whether you think you are or not).

I'm sorry I didn't get to know you better. Going to the race track with you is one of my best childhood memories....one that I'll never forget.

When we walk through a forest that has not been tamed or interfered with by man, we not only see abundant life everywhere, but decomposing fallen trees and matter at every step.
Wherever we look we will find death as well as life.
If we look closer we realize that the rotting trees and leaves not only give birth to new life, but are still alive themselves.
Death is not found anywhere at all
There is only the metamorphosis of life forms.
Death is not the opposite of life.
Life has no opposite.
The opposite of death is birth.
Life is eternal
------
The gifts we receive from the world of the spirit come from perfect love
If we were to apply them to our present human existence we would find much to our amusement that we have been
Born to our children,
Have married our grandparents,
And have sired our parents.
It would be so complex that it would be hard to fully understand with a human mind...
Love will return to love
Again
And again
And again.
Catch you later Dad – the contract has been fulfilled
Your Trace

Throughout life we all have our own destinations.
A path to follow which eventually leads to a place we want to be.
Along this road we encounter others, those who teach us, causing pleasure or pain, happiness or sadness.
Sometimes our roads may cross or even merge together for a while....
Never stray from your destiny.
Even if it means leaving someone behind.

Daddy,
You were a very strong and practical man, who tought me how to think things through but you always had an amazing soft side. You used to sing to me "Every little breeze seems to whisper Louise" and our "me and my shadow" show got top billings. Thank you for being the father that you were and for teaching us so much without us even knowing it. You will truly be missed but I will see you in my dreams.
Love you
Noo

Bobby, my Father-in-law, loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was a man of distinction; dependable, honest, considerate, capable are only some of many adjectives I can use to describe him. The one I like best is "unforgettable"
That's what he was, and is!!!

Uncle Bobby was a great person and I remember him fondly. Will always remember our singing sessions with Sarah on the school journey and the boat trip on the waterways up to Ely. And the great meals at Mr Chow! We learnt a lot from him especially how to have fun. God bless him and keep him safe..With much love, Deborah
