I would like to extend my condolences to the family of Cody Dorman for your loss. As a parent losing a child is hard to accept. It's those precious moments that we cherish and will never forget. The thought of never hearing their voice, feeling the touch of their hand, or seeing that smile that light of a room can be most difficult to bear. It is my sincere hope that the Dorman family is surrounded by love during this difficult time as you continue on this journey of life.
May you always keep treasured memories of Cody in your heart and may you also find comfort in knowing that those who have passed on in death, God keeps in his memory because they are all precious in his eyes. (Psalms 116:15).
Sincerely,
Albert Gray

I wept when I heard that Cody had passed. I thought about how Cody had touched my heart along with so many others - his courage gave me strength to face challenges in my life. In fact after learning of all this young man had been through I reevaluated my troubles which were not even close to the road Cody had traveled with such grace. The magical friendship between Cody and his namesake - wow - I believe it was a gift from God to Cody, his family, anyone who heard their story. Cody's legacy, to me, is a timeless message of hope. It is the same thing that anyone involved in horse racing admires - heart. Cody, I will remember you as someone was here for just a brief moment in time so you could remind us what true courage (heart,) looks like. You inspired hope. Rest in Peace Cody, you gave so much to so many it is not surprising the Lord called you home to enjoy your heavenly rewards.

I first heard of the very special relationship that Cody and Cody´s Wish shared while attending the Breeders Cup at Keeneland last year.. it was a heartwarming win then, and probably even more so this year at Santa Anita, as this was to be Cody´s Wish´s last race. I must admit that I cried with happiness for both Cody and his special horse. I´m so thankful that he was able to be there. Rest easy young man..may God be with you and your loving family.

My condolences to Cody's family. I read the story about Cody and Cody's Wish. I got very emotional. Cody is now healed in Heaven. He can walk and talk and run in Heaven. We had a special needs daughter who was born with disabilities. She is in Heaven now and healed. She can walk and talk and run in Heaven. The Lord Is My Shepherd. Psalm 23.
