Dear Susan, Debbe, And David,

I just wanted to write you all a few lines to let you all know I was thinking of you.

I know the dealth of your dad was a shock to every one.

Just rember all the good times you had with him. he was a remarkable man.

Rember all the boat rides he and your mom took you on during the spring and summer time.

He served his country to his fullest.

Just think of all the naps he took on the porch in westerly with his monuth wide open.

He loves you all so much even though his is gone to be with jesus in heaven now and now he is resting in peace and he is not suffering any more.

He had many converations with you all with lots of laughter. He liked spending time with his children big and small.

I know you all will miss you dad deeply. But GOD will get you through your sarrow. You all will have good and bad days in the monthes ahead. But GOD is the only one that knows what you are going through and what you are feeling in side.

Your dad is watching over his children every day now. At lest you all got to say your good byes to him brfore God took him to be with him.

He will be with you all every day 24 7 in sprit he still loves you all all though he is gone now.

Now you all have good memeries of your dad. now you just have to keep checking on your mom from time to time. She also will be missing your dad deeply. She will also have good and bad days as well in the monthes ahead.

It is best right now that she keeps busy and not at home in R.I. she will have a blast in what she will be doing in the next 6 monthes.

Her children are very supportive in what she does. That is will be nice to go through your dad's stuff when she is ready.

The holidays will be the heardest for you all and your mom and the gradchildren but you all will get through it with stresgth.

I also want you to know If I was in Rhode Island I would have been at your dad's service.

It is not easy to see some one that you love so much die I'm just glad the grandchildren did not see any of that. I know Pappy would had not wanted them to see him die.

I myself have seen some one die and it is not pretty.

Dear Brenden , Adam, & Courtney,

I just wanted to let you all know I'm Thinking of all of you in the monthes ahead.

I know this was some what a shuck to every one and it happen so quickly. But from what Uncle david and dad told me he had been suffering for about 2 years. Pappy was just tired of fighting and his body just gave out.

I feel bad for all your family and I'm sad that Pappy is gone but he is in a better place and he is in heaven with Jesus now and your pappy is looking down at your nanny, mom, aunt debbe, your step dad, uncle Nick, and uncle david, and your dad Courtney. And violet.

Just remember all the good times you had with Pappy all the boat rides he took you on his laughter and Christmas when he played santa class. he loved doing that.

Just remeber all the naps Pappy took out on the back pourch in shelter harbor snoring up a storm with his mounth wide open.

If I recall his favite part of christmas was playing santa clause and going through the stockings first. But before he did santa he had to have cookies and milk.

He loved going to the beach with his grand kids watching them in the water surf boarding and swimging and being around his family at the beach.

Just know that Pappy is at peace and is not suffering any more and he is at a better place now.

I know you all will miss him dearly but he will always be with you in sprit. and he will always love you all very very much.

You all had a wounderfull life together You all made a great married couple you all were always smiling and a joy to be around. There was so much love that you all shared between the 2 of you.

David is still with you in sprit and now he is in heaven watching over you and his faimly

God will get you through your sarrow it will take time though But he knows what you are going through.

Just remeber all the great memriooooies you all had together an I know they will last a life time for all the family that he has.

I know you will miss him dearly But GOD was ready to take him home to be with him.

You are in my thoughts and Prayers in the days and monthes ahead.
