He joined the board of an organization serving Indigenous People in U.S. when he was 17 or 18 (2014-15 timeframe) in which I was also involved. He was involved in the first/kickoff event, and later events including the bike run to Carlisle barracks/Indian birding school grounds (amazing from a spiritual and educational perspective) and the 5k run for Native Youth (running with his dad, Joe, and his uncle Mo) as well as other events. During the last contact I had with him in person, we had a discussion about what his plans were for college. He explained that he had 3 choices of majors, each of which would provide him with skills he could use to help his people. He was an outstanding young man, polite, funny, committed, talented in so many ways, and a light in this world who is continuing his work though departed from this plane (Braids for Cole! More to come). Love and light to him and his family. I will go through photos and share more with you later.
