Grandma was definitely the coolest. She taught me so much growing up. Blessed to have known her. I love you forever grandma.

My love for dear Aunt Lettie & deepest condolences to all of the Hardebeck Family. She and her younger sister Ellie (my Mom) were lifelong friends. Their families were close, and the years growing up near my Hardebeck cousins are such an important part of my past. Although the Hardebeck & Brown kids moved away, the sisters continued to spend time together and travel, especially during the decades after their husbands passed away. Aunt Lettie & my Mom visited Donna & I in New Mexico, as well as later when we moved back to California. Celebrating her 100th birthday party was one of numerous fond memories. We regret that a trip abroad on the day of her funeral will prevent our attendance, but our hearts and thoughts will be with the family in spirit. Thank you, Aunt Lettie, for being such a big part of my entire life!

I'm attaching a photo of the Miller sisters (the future Ellie Brown at left& Lettie Hardebeck at right) on a trip to Chicago soon after the end of World War II, before they had met their husbands.

Aunt Lettie was a force of nature, a joy wherever she went and to those she touched. I regret we were not all closer, but I´m grateful for the times we shared. Her engaging spirit will be dearly missed. God Bless, love, Mariannette Miller-Meeks

Lettie was my sister Anne's mother-in-law, and I had the pleasure of knowing her for over 40 years. We had many chats together at the family gatherings, and I shall remember her fondly. She was quite the character, and she will be missed.

God Bless my sweet Grandmother. Grandma had a heart of gold. Everywhere we went she loved to talk to everyone. My Grandmother loved nature, people and life in general. She appreciated the simple things in life and loved all of us dearly. People like my Grandmother are hard to come by. She always told me I was her pride and Joy and she definitely was mine. I'll hold her close in my heart forever. May she rest in peace the lord and her family in heaven. I love you and will see you again Grandma, Love Joey

My mom, Lettie Hardebeck, was a beautiful person that had a big heart and did a great job raising me and my 3 siblings. She will sorely be missed and will never be forgotten. I will never forget all the great camping trips I went on when I was a youngster and teenager. My wife Betsy and I were very fortunate to give her our love just before she passed and we will never forget all of the great times we had when she came out to visit us and our kids. We also enjoyed the many times we visited her in California and went to the beach and had many nice drives. She will surely be missed.
