I was so happy when I was able to visit with Colette a few months ago and give her some of our family pictures. My mother Mary King Hinkle moved from Canada to the Peterson family home on Fir Ave. in 1921. When she lived with them she married James Hinkle on 6-21-1921. Her step mother's maiden name was Mary Heaveren, so I guess that is the connection of our family to the Peterson Family. We as children always thought we were cousins. My family lived in Fairview Park, Ohio on what everyone called "out in the country" and we always enjoyed it when the Peterson's would come to visit. Colette was a great person to know and she will always be in my prayers. Love, Theresa Hinkle Sherman, Mother of eleven. Living wilh Marilyn Sherman 13815 Emery Ave. Cleveland, Oh. 44135

I am so sorry to hear of Colette's passing. I was unable to pay my respects at the funeral home today and cannot attend the church service. My childhood memories of Colette will always be with me. As kids on Idlewild Dr. we all played together. On Fidays, if my parents were working, Colette would pull an extra chair to the table and include me in their pizza dinner! She also taught me how to ride a bike when we first moved in our house across the street from the Brauns' house. She was so generous and had a great laugh! I will always think of her laughing. I loved her.

We wanted to express our sympathies at the loss of a very special lady! It was hard not to play favorites when it came to Aunt Colette, she always made you feel special, and worked hard at keeping us all inline, though at times we made that next to immpossible. We all share very fond memories of good times spent together with Aunt Colette, she will be sorely missed!
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those left behind....till we meet again.
