Colette "Kitty" Ransom Colette Ransom, age 82 of Wilmington, DE, formerly of Asheville, NC died Sunday, June 27, 2004, at Gilpin Hall. Kitty moved to Wilmington, DE at an early age. She was a loyal friend, devoted grandmother and trusted worker. She cared for the family of Rita D. Tigani for nearly 50 years. She will be greatly missed by Rita, Paul and Mary Tigani, Joan and Sam Beard and Jeff and Nina Tigani. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Mills; grandchildren, Curtis, Derek and Tamara; and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 3:30-4:30 pm on Thursday, July 1, 2004, at The House of Wright Mortuary, 208 E. 35th St., Wilmington, DE 19802. There will be no viewing. Interment will be in Asheville, NC. God saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb. So, He gently closed Colette's eyes and whispered, "Peace be thine". She bid no one a last farewell. She said goodbye to none. Her loving heart just ceased to beat. Her stay on earth was done.
