I am so very sorry to hear about Colin. I remember him as a thoughtful, sensitive and fun loving young man. My sincerest thoughts are with you at this very sad time.

Colin was a fun and exciting best friend whose adventurous spirit enriched my boyhood memories like no one else. He was a great Lego builder, tree fort maker, and storyteller with an intensity of feeling. Though we lost touch, I am heartened to hear he found expression for his sensitivities through teaching and writing later in life. To Bea, Angus, and his loved ones, my sympathy for your loss.

We were young once, weren't we?
It's become a fog. --- I dry my eyes.
Coming up together, in this life - you, me -and them: - too.
