Our condolences to Cherry and her family. Colin was my mentor while teaching in Melville Sask. Our son Colin was named after him as I considered Colin a very great man. Take care Cherry and God bless.

The most colourful Minister of Saskatchewan Advanced Education I ever worked with who contributed a great deal of Scottish humour and wit as well. Condolences to his family/clan.

it has many years since I have seen Colin like 40 i first met this great man when i was in high school and he was referring our basketball tournament in indian head, we became instant friends. years later i met up with him in university. he was such a wonderful, kind and humors man. i lost track of him after he went to ottawa, i always knew he would make a difference because he sure did for me. those of us who knew him will miss him, but he has left great memories.

So sorry to hear of Colins passing.
Colin was a great teacher and left us many great memories of high school. A well respected teacher.
