We met December 5, 1967 when her mom and sisters took me to their home to celebrate my 19th birthday. The rest is history. Countless things we experienced together over the years. A special friend and wonderful sister-in-law.

Colleen, my elegant friend, I miss you. I miss your countless kindnesses, your easy  generosity, our walks and talks, the way you infused beauty into every aspect of your life, how your creativity revealed itself in your fashion style, your therapy work, your gardens, your gift-giving....everywhere. You lived your life with grace and courage. You remained focused and positive when faced with adversity, living life as though there were no end. And when the end approached, you designed your departure, leaving on your terms, with intention, grace and flair. Oh, do I miss you, Colleen.

Dear Colleen, thank you for being a beacon of beauty and wisdom. We, the ProHealth Care weight loss team, benefited immensely by your example of compassion and wit, experience and understanding, elegance and grace. You optimistically saw the cancer recurrence as a gift, providing each day with your full attention and gratitude. You have spent the last decade of your earthly experience living consciously with joyful purpose--surrounded by loving family members, in the serenity of nature and continuing your thirst for knowledge and understanding.
Your rich life has touched and improved ours--your presence is felt. We can still hear your wise words and chuckle. You are alive in our hearts. Today, we gather in Delafield, Wisconsin to celebrate your life. We miss you, but know we have a dear friend in the heavenly realm.
Love, Julie, Sarah, Jennifer, Leticia and Betty

We love you so much, Mio. We miss your smile, your laugh, your hugs, the sound of your voice. We talk about you every day. You told us you'd always be with us, and it's true. We carry you in our hearts. We look for signs of you all around us- in a rainbow, a ladybug, a flower, a sunrise. Thank you for loving us, for being the best Mio we could ever have, for seeing the best in us, for teaching us to be kind, grateful, joyful, and positive, for letting us have so much fun, and now, for being our angel. We love you forever.
