So sorry to have only just learnt of Colleen's death. She was an amazing woman, and cared for my brother very diligently for a number of years. My condolences to all her family, rest in peace Colleen, you deserve a special place. Kathie Figgins (nee Harger))

So sorry to lose this loving ,fun filled, witty , whimsical ,talented artist ,that I was blessed to have as a part of my life. She is gone too soon.
As our family now enters a new phase in our lives, I come to a realization that, as a beloved sibling dies, so again dies a part of our love source, our parents.
But as I turn around I see fresh evidence of that source, still kindled in her children ,and grandchildren.
So, painful as it is to lose this beautiful spirit, we should be grateful that this love source will continue into the future ,and never be lost.
Thank you Colleen, for your contributions and light ,that you gave this world . I loved my big sister.

So sad to hear of Colleen's deafh. We have lost touch over recent years but always knew we could pick up again as though it was yesterday when our paths crossed again. Memories of times shared still bring a smile. Rest well, old friend. .thoughts and blessings with all her family.

LAFFERTY-HANNAH, Colleen. Born November 11, 1946. Passed away on October 15, 2018. All of a sudden, the world is a slightly darker place. The sun not so bright and the stars have lost their sparkle. Less laughter filling the air, less fun and frivolity. The fixer of your problems came up against one he couldn't fix. Our unbreakable bond will never fade, it's merely changed to a long-distance version for the time being. Keep the kettle on, spaghetti and meatballs on the stove and a Mummy hug waiting for us.
