Dear Mantyla Family,

Please accept my love and condolences from Germany. Don and Colleen were such great across-the-street neighbors for so many years. I am grateful for our association and for the wonderful contributions to the lives of others Colleen made in a helpful, unassuming way.

Love to all of you.

Dear Don, I was so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. Even if she was struggling, it's always hard to see a loved one go, despite the fact that she went to a much better place. Your Mom was obviously a great and blessed lady; she raised a wonderful family and was a faithful daughter of God; our hearts go out to you at this time of sadness. We send love and best wishes to you and your family! May the Lord continue to support and comfort you during this tender time. With love and admiration, Craig and Joan Anderson

I am so sorry to have been gone for the funeral. I have lovely memories of the Mantyla family in total and Colleen in particular. She had an infectious laugh, a sweet disposition, and most of all a deep love for her family. I so much admire how Don has cared for his sweetheart in her declining years. For Don, Mary, Don and all of your heirs, my gratitude for what the Mantyla family has shared with the Ickes family over 35 years through friendship and associations.

Dear Don,

Please accept our love and sympathy at the death of your dear wife. We remember many good associations with the two of you at Temple Square and at Dental events. Colleen was a lovely gracious lady. We remember what a good job she did as the President of the Utah State Dental Auxiliary. May the Lord bless you and your family with peace and comfort.

With Love, John and Pat Bevan

I remember Mrs Mantyla as the 'book lady'. When we were very young and going to Dr Mantyla for dental work she would give my mother boxes of books that her children had outgrown. It was worth going to the dentist just for those books! They were put to good use and enjoyed very much. My sympathies to her family.

Don:
Sorry about Colleen. I know you will not remember me, but many times I road with you and Colleen to Salt Lake. We would stop at Colleen's home in Heber and have a break, then on to Salt Lake we would listen to the Green Hornet on the radio. What a great time in my life.
Thanks to you and Colleen for your time and endless help.

Again, my sympathy goes to you and your family.
