Dear Cheryl, Gary, Renee, Mark, Greg & Mimi,
I just heard of our dear friend's death from another of her old time friends, and, was shocked that Colleen is not among us anymore. Wow, the friendship goes back to when WE were kids on McPherson Blvd. How we had sooooo much fun together as families there. Memories of your Dad AND your Mom are still treasures in my heart. Loved the spaghetti dinners Colleen would invite us over to share with you; "just bring yourselves, I'll provide the rest", she'd call over. What a terrific lady your Mom was and this world was surely blessed by her life and how she lived it. I will always treasure her loving spirit and kindness and infectious smile & laughter as long as I live. So glad when they would come to WI to visit their Guardalabene relatives and come stay with us.

Please know that my sympathy & love is extended to you all, even though Colleen has been missed for months now by you. Keeping a warm spot in my heart for all her beautiful ways. Have my Mom (Dorothy Denny) in a nursing home now with Alzheimers. Wishing you all God's blessing from her (I told her yesterday) & me. May HIS LOVE & ours (from a distance) enfold you & keep you.

May you always know you have a friend in WI as long as I live.

Dear Cousins,
I along with Jeanne, Austin and Allison send you our deepest love and sympathy. I can't express enough the appreciation that I have for both Aunt Colleen and Uncle John for the way in which they helped my Mom (Aunt
Elaine) when she had her health problems before she passed away. It is now good knowing that the twin sisters are together again and that your Dad and my Dad have their companions at their side. Cherish the memories and find peace in every day.
All of our love, Randy, Jeanne, Austin and Allison.

Renee and Sherri,
I want you to know there will never be another friend as wonderful as your mother. I have known her for over 50 years. I remember the cups of coffee and phone calls between us when the kids were growing up. Now she is with your father and isn't that nice for her!

To all of Colleene's children:
Your mother was one to be modeled after. I remember growing up as a shy child but when I would see your mother her warm smile that came straight from the heart would open me up. She had a laugh that was infectious and the beauty to go with it. She is now with your father where all is well and will be waiting to greet each of you on the other side. I hope you find comfort every day in her memory

Love,
Patty
