An extraordinary human who I was lucky enough to share a birthday with and a huge love for his family.
Cheers to you sir and enjoy being the guardian angel for those beautiful grandkids

I have known Chuck for so long I can't remember when I first met him. As a journalist, I was witness to a good handful of his different careers and always knew him as the "go-to guy" in area emergencies. He was calm, in control, not afraid to make a decision and, yet, so very funny! I can hear his voice as I picture him dealing with airport issues, flooding or other impeding disasters. Beyond our work connection, he was always a friend. We stayed in touch after he moved and he always had a pithy comeback to my Facebook posts. I cherished our friendship and feel privileged to have known him. He was one of a kind.

Chuck was a family friend and also my local Liaison Officer who helped me get into the Air Force Academy. He reached out to the cross-country running coach, who recruited me for the team. Since I was not pilot qualified, I think this really helped me get the nomination. Chuck remained a big supporter during my time at the Academy and throughout my Air Force career. He was there to commission me at my graduation from USAFA (Photos included). Truly a genuine, caring person and a great patriot!

Charles and I grew up together during grade and high school. I spent a lot of time at their home. I can still remember him catching the final out behind 3rd. I played left field. We won the state midget tournament . We both learned to fly and had the same FAA Pilot Examiner a few weeks apart in DSM. He asked if I knew Charles Miller Minerman? I said I certainly did as he wrote out my Pvt.
