I fondly remember Sister Saint Columba as if it was yesterday. She taught my 3rd grade class at St Alphonsus school in 1955 in the Goose Village, as well as my 7th grade class at St. Ann's Girl's School in Griffintown in 1959.
She was kind, understanding, fair but very strict and firm. She was a dedicated teacher that held the respect of all her students.
May she rest in peace! God bless her and keep her!Gone but not forgotten.

Sr. Saint Columba of Iona was my 3rd grade teacher at St. Alphonsus school in the Goose Village/Victoriatown section of Montreal. She was later a teacher/principal at St. Ann's school in Griffintown. I always remember her for her flaming red hair and strict disciplinary ways. She was a very dedicated teacher and loved her students. The world needs more teachers like her.

To the sisters of the Congregation of Notre-Dame
Mother St. Columba was my principal at St. Ann's School. I also had the pleasure of knowing her sister, Mother St. Joseph....what fine, outstanding members of the congregation they were....truly an inspiration to all the students. Many fond memories.
