Mrs. Concetta Margaret "Connie" Jaworski

Mrs. Concetta Connie Margaret (Remigi) Jaworski, born on February 17, 1921 in Worcester, Massachusetts, to the late Filomena Remigi and the late Mario Remigi, passed away at age 98 on April 16, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Concetta graduated from Commerce High School in 1939. She was in the Aircraft and Industrial industry at Republic Aviation and Grumman Corp. and others as a Secretary or clerical worker until retiring in 1979. Concetta was the beloved wife of the late Mitchell C Jaworski. She was preceded in death by her sister, Anne; and dog, Gigi. Concetta is survived by her son, Mitchell "Jay" Jaworski; daughters, Roberta Di Lorenzo, Debra Jaworski, and Denise Mathews; sisters, Ida Remigi and Flora Jones; grandchildren, Christina Hunt, Mitchell Jaworski, Michael Jaworski, Francis Zebulon Mathews, Adam T Mathews, and Daniel Lincoln Mathews; and friend, Claire Hirschfeld. Concetta's hobbies included watching sports with husband, sunbathing, taking cruises, planting tomatoes in summer, and caring for her family. She was a volunteer at Children's Aid Society. Donations in Concetta's name to American Heart Association are welcome and appreciated. Friends and family members may attend the memorial service, officiated by A Catholic deacon, on Tuesday, May 7 from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, Nevada, 89005.
