You know, sometimes I forget. And the instant I remember, the sadness overwhelms me. That clutch in my chest returns.
But all I have to do is walk outside and I think of all the beauty you gave us.

Connie is on my mind today. She is missed in this world.

I still think of you Connie, each time I pass Summit Artspace. Taken too soon, but left a beautiful legacy!

As best friends in high school we occasionally got into a bit of mischief, such as midnight parties at a friend's pool. Life interrupted our adventures together, but somehow I always looked forward to moore after we reconnected. Now I grieve for the missed possibilities, but still bathe in the inspiration of your spirit.

Connie, I thought your greatest talent was toeing a knot in a string or cherry stem until I saw your fabric art. Love and miss you.

I cannot believe it's been nearly a year since you left us. Every single day I look at your beautiful pieces of art on my wall and smile. Every single day.
I remember how pleased you were the way I have them displayed.
The world has changed so much in a year and not in a way you would have wanted. I can only imagine the conversations we'd be having!
Thank you again for all the beauty in words and fabric!

I want everyone out there to know that the art sale and memorial party for Connie was a fabulous success! We had a grand time, just what Connie had planned and wished for..!

Connie would have been soo very happy to know that her art was going in to so many happy homes.

It was so cool seeing images of Connie when she was a model for Goodyear, sharing stories among her friends and colleagues from the art community and the Akron Beacon Journal.

We loved her so much, she will be truly missed. Just know that Connie is smiling a huge grin... Thanks to everyone who joined us and for those that could not make it, there is an estate sale coming soon for the tools and misc. items. (All proceeds going to her chosen charities)

So happy I was able to work with you in your studio Connie. I could have spent weeks with you. I will cherish what I learned and put those skills to good use. Rest in Peace lovely lady. Will continue the fight against C. You were taken too soon. Be my angel and watch over my creativity.

Connie was an important part of my life in the 90's. I was entertained by her humor many a night, and learned much from her graciousness and beautiful spirit. It was truly a blessing to have crossed her path on this journey of life. Her memory will shine forever.

A huge loss. What a delightful person. Sincere condolences to her family and close friends.

We will miss her talent, joy and enthusiasm that she readily shared with us.

Oh Connie....we had so much fun together. You made me the best fresh pasta I ever had. The gatherings around the huge, polished wood dinner table will never be forgotten. I have many cherished memories of wine and late night movies. You're wonderful smile is forever in my heart. The world is a poorer place without you.

enjoyed her cooking classes in the eighties....I will remember how she told how to get a hold of her in the yellow pages SHE said she was listed under T Fish...her class was the easy breezy gourmet and I had the honor of cooking our graduation dinner at her Apt

I was unaware of Connie's illness and stunned to see her obituary.
I always thought her last name was fitting as she created such lovely pieces of art.
Unable to attend an art showing at Hardesty, I went on her website and consequently called her to inquire about a piece I saw. What followed was a visit to her home and entry into her magical world of art textiles,thread and story telling within that medium. I spent a couple hours with her and came away with not only three treasured pieces, but memories of a warm, loving and creative individual, indeed. May she rest in piece and create beautiful heavenly pieces amongst the Angels. She was a treasure. My heart is saddened today, but grateful for her creative and beautiful life.
