Connie L. Frederick

FREDERICK, Connie L., was born January 25, 1949 in Hillsboro, Kansas to Clyde Kissinger and Virginia Miller. For most of her childhood and until 1967 she lived in Littleton, Colorado. In 1967 she moved to Anderson, Indiana to attend Anderson University where she graduated in 1971. On June 12, 1970 she married Glen A. Frederick, also a student at Anderson University and in 1972 twin girls were born and they moved to Littleton, Colorado where they resided until 1981 when they moved to Tucson. Connie owned Casas Adobes Flower Shop in Tucson with her brother, Rick Crause for many years in the 1980's and 1990's. Connie was a member of and attended Casas Adobes Baptist Church. She started singing at a young age and had a beautiful soprano voice. She loved to sing in church about her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She loved her Savior with all of her heart and is now home in heaven with Jesus and many, many family members including her daughter, Heather who passed away March 19, 2001, both parents and brother, Rodwyn Kissinger and half brother, Bradley Kissinger. In addition to her husband, Glen, she is also survived by her daughter, Amy Frederick of Tucson; brother, Gene Kissinger (Lorna) of Littleton, CO; brother, Rick Crause of Las Vegas, NV, and half brother, Greg Kissinger of Elizabeth, CO. and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins from all parts of the United States. A Memorial Service celebrating Connie's life will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Barrier Chapel at Casas Church, 10801 N. La Cholla Rd. A reception will follow immediately after the Service and all are invited. Private interment at Evergreen Cemetery will follow at a later date to be determined.
