Connie Holman Obituary

Visit the Legacy Remembers website to view the full obituary.
Connie M Holman (April 28, 1937 - July 3, 2025), a woman of quiet strength and deep devotion to her family, passed away peacefully at the age of 88. Born in Renton, Washington, to William and DeLoris Boswell, and lovingly raised by her stepfather, Bert E Evans, she lived a life defined by love, creativity, and purpose.

A gifted and recorded pianist, Connie found joy in music-from playing at weddings in her youth to filling her home with melodies for family and friends. She was also a masterful quilter and seamstress, lovingly creating one-of-a-kind quilts that reflected the personalities and passions of her loved ones. Her legendary freezer jam and from-scratch meals will be fondly remembered. Ensuring that no one left the table hungry, brought her true joy.

Connie was married to her beloved husband, Don Holman, for 69 years. Together, they built a life rooted in hard work and deep connection. They owned and operated H&H Orchards and Packing in Sunnyslope and Malaga, and later launched Western & Wildlife Wonders. Their dedication fostered lifelong friendships with fellow growers, employees, and customers alike.

She led by quiet example-instilling the values of humility, kindness, and generosity. Her home was always open, filled with warmth, laughter, and love.

Connie is survived by her husband Don; children Donna Bernard (Dave), Scott Holman (Diane), and Brett Holman (Maria); grandchildren MacKenzie Basilio (Raphael), Kyle Bernard (Natalie), Cy Floyd (Morganne), Jessica Currier (Jenner), Blake Holman (Rose), and Anissa Holman; great-grandchildren Georgia Bernard and Rhett Basilio; and sister Diane Clark (Jim). She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

A celebration of Connie's life will be held on July 24 10 a.m.-12 noon at Ohme Gardens, 3327 Ohme Rd, Wenatchee, WA.

Cinnie was very sweet and so very helpful to me. She understood so much of my time spent with her and gave me confidence. I will miss her. So happy I ran into her and Don at the Country Inn in East Wenatchee, always with a smile and sure brings your spirits up. Love and Bless you, Connie.
