Connie was born March 4th 1959, the baby of the family. She was a delightful inquisitive little girl with a love of animals. Connie could be seen trotting on her imaginary pony, or talking to the live goats, or building a toy farm with her large collection of farm toys. As she got older her love for animals did not change. Connie loved dogs and owned many over the years. Her current dogs, Misty and Rodger miss her terribly as do the rest of us.
Connie is preceded in death by her father Donald L Schramm Sr. She leaves behind Dan Wahl, her life partner of 25 plus years, her mother June E Schramm, brothers Donald L, Jr and David L Schramm, and sister Carolyn Johnston, along with their spouses.., Connie, Terri, and Scott, and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. A special thanks to niece Amy for always making time for Connie.
Connie and Dan lived a solitary simple life and were immensely dedicated to each other. They enjoyed long car rides, freestyle camping, and always took their dogs with them wherever they went. Our heart goes out to Dan as he moves forward without her. Connie left us early in life due to a variety of health problems and complications from a stroke. We would like to extend a special thank you to the social workers and counselors at Compass Health for always being Connie's cheerleader and ally. Also thank you to Swedish Cherry Hill Hospital and staff for their caring and compassionate support.
Connie will be laid to rest at Arlington Cemetery with Weller Funeral Home handling the arrangements. No services will be held at this time. A small celebration of life will be held this summer. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to a charity of your choice in Connie's name. Options that would be meaningful to Connie and the family might be the local shelter, dog rescue, or a food bank.

What a lovely tribute to a beautiful soul. Our hearts go out to Connie's family and friends. We have wonderful memories of playing together as kids and delighting in her imagination and ability to find enjoyment in the simplest of things. Our thoughts are with you all.
Sincerely,
The Edeen family

My heart is sadden to hear the news of Connie's passing. I will always remember Connie for her sweet disposition.
I felt very honored to attend Connie's birthday party when we were freshmen in high school. She was sweet, kind and a special soul whom I will never forget. She holds a special place in my heart and everyone who knew her.
To her family, I pray God's blessings on you as you mourn her passing.

So sorry to hear the sad news of Connie's passing. We had a great childhood growing up right next door to this wonderful family. We will never forget her and her sweet and innocent smile and of course her imaginary pony as well. No doubt she now riding a beautiful white stallion with her hair blowing in the breeze.
Like all of your family, thanks for being such a big part of all of our lives. Ride on Connie. Ride on !!!
