Connie Tyler Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 1, 2024.
Connie Marie Tyler born on May 7, 1962 in the village of Barrigada, Guam to warm hearted parents, Joaquin and Concepcion Garrido. She was the second oldest of five children and spent most of her life in California. She met and married her husband Timothy Tyler gaining a daughter, Kristin and sharing 3 girls Porcia Rae, Jasmine, and Kaela completing their family of 6. Connie passed away on July 14th, 2024, at the age of 62 after living a life of no regrets.

A joyous wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, godmother, and aunt to all that knew her; Connie was known for always asking for a coca-cola slurpee from 7 Eleven and wanting to go to the casino. She always showed up to family parties and other events with the biggest smile, shouting "Heeeyyy,' while walking through the door. She could always be found on the dance floor or in the middle of a group laughing the loudest.

If you asked anyone who had the chance to meet her, she always made everyone feel as part of the family. Sixty-two years was not enough time with Connie, but the moments and memories shared with her will be cherished forever.

As she always said, she wasn't here for a long time, but for a good time.

She is preceded in death by her father Joaquin and siblings Joanne & John.

Connie leaves behind her husband Timothy, daughters Kristin (Jacob), Porcia Rae, Jasmine, Kaela and granddaughter Zoey. She also leaves behind her mother, Concepcion and siblings Eleanor & Kenneth, along with countless nieces, nephews and family and friends who felt her warmth and love.
