At the memorial service today for another Ballard Classmate (class of '53), I learned of Connie's passing. I'm sorry I did not see this sooner but was out of the state. I will be sure to put the information in the Golden Beaver Log for our class. Please accept condolences from the class. Laurie Detert Anderson

Connie has been a part of my life for more than 60 years. I am sure that I will miss her as much as many of her family will. But I am happy for her to now be with Milt, her parents, grandparents and other friends who have gone on before her and free from a body that has not functioned well for over a quarter of a century. She now can freely walk and talk and join a heavenly choir. I love you Connie.

I can still remember hearing Connie teach us a very special lesson while in Relief Society in 10th Ward. She always made me think of who I was in relationship with our Heavenly Father's Plan and how women can be important as well while serving within the guidelines of our specific "callings". She was a great example to all who knew her and loved her for her many talents and had a smile that you could always remember. My first year when I heard her as she gave comments or lessons to us women of the church and her great testimony as a challenge for all of us to follow, I admired her great strengths for teaching. Thanks, Connie for your great example. Judy Bingham

You will forever be in my heart Dear Connie. I will ALWAYS think of you with your Beautiful Smile leading the music at church and warmly smiling at Larry and I. You helped a couple of teenagers feel included and cared about! You were such a shining light in my life and an Amazing Example of loving Heavenly Father, Your Family, and Your friends and neighbors. Thank you for all the Love and Kindness and Service You have given me and my Family. I will never forget how you helped me when I was exhausted by Graciously Offering to help me with the big job of binding my Brother and His Fiancés temple quilt! It was Last Minute before their wedding and I would never have made it without you! You took it home and brought it to me beautifully sewn. I Love You and will look forward to meeting you again one day. I will keep an eye on your sweet Jenny. How Thankful I am for her! You raised a special family. They will miss you.
