May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Good bye Connie

I remember when you lived on Mallory Street,

Barbara Ann and I would go to the store for treats.

A pretty little girl, as sweet as could be,

a beautiful, little girl, what a site to see.

A very likeable, charming, charismatic figure,

you joined the army and gave them over 20 years tenure.

America is still a safer place, because you chose to occupy some military space,

now you have moved on to a better place.

No need to worry about rifts or harm,

you’ve now moved on, to the great beyond.

The family is sad because you’re not here.

However, we should all be happy, because it’s really a time to cheer.

Because peace and comfort now envelopes you,

and that is definitely no cause to be blue.

GOD has called you home to be with him,

where you will surely rise again.
