I extend my deepest sympathy to Carolyn, Pam, and all of Conrad's family on your great loss. I was a fellow faculty member of Conrad's at Chatham College where I remember him as a perfect gentleman and admirable educator. My clearest memories of him are of his staunch advocacy of Rachel Carson's "Silent Spring" and the case against the use of pesticides. I also shared with "Connie" a displeasure with the tedium of faculty meetings. I mourn with you the loss of an extraordinary man.

Chuck:
You are in my thoughts and prayers. I know it's a difficult time, losing your Father is losing an important part of you, and your life. Believe that his unabiding love and spirit will always be with you.
Your Friend,
Gail
