Marylouise Terheyden

Marylouise Lohse Terheyden Entered into rest on July 23, 2011 in Millbrae, CA. Marylou, as she was affectionately known, was born in San Francisco CA. on May 13, 1940. In her early years, she attended St. Cecilia grammar school and St. Rose Academy. She graduated from San Francisco State and taught Junior High in public schools in both San Francisco and San Jose. Marylou was a voracious reader, an enthusiastic knitter, and a world class hostess. She loved to travel. She will be remembered by her many friends throughout the Bay Area and the East Coast. She is survived by her two children, Jennifer Mieuli (Dean) Jameson and Paul (Lisa) Mieuli from her first marriage to James Mieuli. She will be remembered fondly by her three grandchildren, Kasey, Kole and Mark Andrew ("Tre".) Marylou was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred Murphy Lohse and Frederick Charles Lohse, Sr. and her brother, Frederick Charles Lohse, Jr . She was also preceded in death by her second husband, L. Richard Terheyden, the love of her life, to whom she was married 34 years. A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Cecilia Church on September 17, at 10:00 a.m. with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Rose Court Community at St. Rose, Dominican Sisters of San Rafael, 1520 Grand Avenue, San Rafael, CA 94901.
