I Just found out about Conrad's passing. My sincere condolences to Gail and Erika. I met Conrad during the time I was working at Embraer. He was an admirable and talented businessman and human being. He was extremely kind: I remember when he opened the doors of his home to host us at his place. My heart goes to the family! May God always be with him and with Gail and Erika bringing you comfort. Take care! Andrea

Since hearing of Conrad's passing I think of him almost every day. I guess I figured he'd just always be here. I could see him after years had passed and it was like we had never been out of contact. We got kicked out of the same football game together at Sammamish, Went bird hunting, along with Chris Matson, out at Chris Brain's family farm in Carnation. Big lesson here: If you have friends you really care about, don't put off getting together with them. RIP, Conrad. I miss you in my life.

Dear Gail, Dave and I were out of the country when we saw Conrad's obituary online in the Times. I can't tell you how badly we feel. We have many happy memories of the good times we had with you when we were dating. Dave said he was always so impressed with Conrad's mechanical aptitude and especially enjoyed going fishing with him in the Okanogan area. We mailed a card to you, not realizing you had moved, and it was returned to us today. I would have called you but don't have your cell #. We are so sorry for your loss. If there is anything we can do for you, my email is [email protected].

To Conrad's Family, I first met Conrad at University Swaging down on Boat Street. We both were attending the UW at the time. Over the years, as the Sales Representative for Broderick & Bascom Wire Rope, I would call on Bob & Conrad. Over the years, I respected everything that Bob & Conrad accomplished at University Swaging. And after the death of Bob, Conrad took University Swaging to unbelievable heights in the industry. Conrad was respected by all. To read about Conrad's passing was a huge shock to all. And he will be missed by all. My Deepest Sympathy and God Bless, Woody Haizlip

I had met Conrad at his work but mainly knew him through my oldest Son, Jerry Armstrong. Jerry was a vendor of software to University Swagging and later worked there. Jerry had the highest admiration of Conrad and as I learned more about him I have been Very impressed of his kindness and caring for others. The Company he has led shows most vividly his outstanding business acumen, business skills and leadership abilities. His kindness to our Son during Jerry's three year battle with pancreatic cancer will never be forgotten. Jerry's widow Cheryl, my wife Linda and I wish to extend our sincere condolences to his family. They have lost a true and gentle man.
