Constance Jane "Connie" Mosser went home to be with her dear Lord and Savior Monday, September 15, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Connie was born December 6, 1943, to Frank Joseph Bertagna and Bobbie Jane Gueder in Harlingen, Texas. She graduated from Alice High School in 1962. Connie cherished her high school friends, especially her girls of '62. She attended A&I University as an art major with a minor in business administration.
Connie married the love of her life, Harry Jay Mosser, Jr., on December 2, 1968 and wrote one of the greatest love stories ever told. She was blessed with many talents and shared them generously with all those that she knew. She was an accomplished artist, photographer, sculptor, great cook, and decorator. She loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. She was also an avid game player and very rarely could anyone ever beat her. Connie had a great entrepreneurial spirit that she inherited from her mother and father, and had many successful business adventures such as Key Reality, Orange Julius, Mosser Reality, The Green Parrot, Uniquely Yours and her artwork. But her most cherished time was spent with her family going on fun trips and celebrating many beautiful occasions.
She will always be remembered for her dedication to family, hard-working spirit, her love for the Lord and her divine ability to make anything beautiful.
Connie is proceeded in death by her parents, Frank Joseph Bertagna and Bobbie Jane Geuder. Her brother Ronald Frank Bertagna. Her daughter's Laura Yvonne Mosser and Pamela Diane Mosser.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Elizabeth Ann Appling, Frank Thomas Shumate Jr., Harry (Donna) Jay Mosser III, Matthew (Denise) Zackery Mosser, Ashley (Will) Mosser Cocke. Her beloved grandchildren, Tristan (Meagan) McGill Mosser, Amanda Sue McCall, Anna (Alan) Nicole Evans, Ian Scott McCall, Alice Anne-Marie Appling, William Hefner Appling III, Olivia Paris Shumate, Bella Jane Mosser, Lillia Rose Mosser, Matthew Samuel Mosser, William Travis Brown, William Cohen Cocke III, and Elizabeth Suzanne Cocke.
She was also abundantly blessed by her great grandchildren Aajelah Janelle Lewis, Kevin Gerard Murray, and Wren Travis Matthew Mosser.
A visitation will be held at 12pm on Friday, September 26, 2025 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 1pm.
We will miss her terribly, but her spirit will live on through the love that she imparted on each and every person she met.
