Cora Howland Obituary
Mrs. Howland died May 27, 2010. She was born July 29, 1934, in Elkhart. She retired from the Tyler Independent School District and was a member of Community Church of God in Christ.
Survivors include husband, Oranes Howland Sr., and sons, Arlandus Howland, Oranes Howland Jr., Otis Howland (Doretha), Gregory Howland (Shenetha) and Clayton Howland; daughters, Dain Hunt (Herbert), Sherry Walker (Claude), Marlease Lazzy Stewart (Darrell) and Ovetise L. Pettigrew (Robert); brothers, Horace Mosley, Will Rogers, Odell Mosley and Leroy Williams; sisters, Virginia Mosley, Lula Smith, Queen Mosley, Annie Mae Spigner and Freda Broughton; 30 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
