Wow Grandma can´t believe it´s been 14 years. Mom is with you now and so is Aunt Pauline, Aunt Janet, Uncle Ed too. We sure do miss all of you very much!!!! Hopefully Jesus will return soon for the rest of us saved and we will all rejoice in heaven together

I am Wade Weaver,Aunt Cora's nephew,son of Hoyle(Uncle Toms brother).I only saw Aunt Cora about once in the last 50 years,but I will always remember her love and kindness when I was a child and my teenage years.She will be greatly missed by Ed and Brad,and everyone else that knew her.

I am James (Bud) Weaver, aunt Cora's nephew, son of Hoyle (uncle Tom's brother). I hadn't seen aunt Cora since 1955 but always remembered her fondly from my boyhood days and in later years through her son Ed. I know Ed misses her so much.

Aunt Cora, yes you are loved and missed very much, I know in the last many years God blessed you to live and share your life with all the family I never got to see you but you never left our mind and will always be in our heart,

I recall visiting you often when you lived behind Peggy on "old tower". I always came to listen, to hear the stories of your life and to see you smile as you recalled special memories.
I think of how life must have been a challenge to you..a mother left to raise 7 children on her own. Times were often hard financially but you never gave up. All of your children have values, which is one of the greatest gifts a parent can give a child. Bless you. You are missed.

Remembering Mom


Happy Mothers day is here once more
But on this special day, I softly mourn,
For my mother is home with the angels
Where her heart has been re-born.

I try to keep my brightest smile
For those around to know,
But deep inside there's a little cry
For I miss my mother so.


I'd love to sit again and hold her hand
As I am lonesome for her all the while,

Although we did not get to spend that much time with you, The memories we do have we will carry for the rest of our lives. We remember when Jon wanted some grapes from the basket on your table and you told him to go wash his hands and he reached for some anyway and when you smacked his hand and he said "Ouch" you said "Ouch" too and told him to try it again and he very quickly shook his head no...lol We will all be together some day in his kingdom..Now you are in his loving embrace and watching over us all...We love you Great Granma...

I am Jessica, granddaughter of Cora and daughter of Janet. Grandmom you were the rock that held all our families together! How can we forget all the holidays meals you fixed for us (banana pudding!) and those mornings you would grace us lucky ones with your biscuits and gravy. You have given me so many great memories to cherish for the rest of my life. I loved spending weekends with you..from watching the Golden Girls or The Munsters while eating tomato soup and grilled cheese or helping you with your crossword puzzles. Or when I got the chicken pox how you would coat me with a thick layer of oatmeal! My best memory thought would be laying in bed with you and refused to go to sleep until you would tell me a ghost story. I would watch you sleep with Critter by your side, while both of you had your arm/paw over your eyes. Knowing you are finally home where you wanted to be for so long helps any sadness I have over your passing. Love and Miss you Grandmom!
