Corey Robert Lovett

Tucson - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Corey Robert Lovett on May 14, 2024. Corey, born in Needham, MA on July 30, 1970, was the cherished son of Bette-Jo Lovett and the late Curtis Ladd Lovett. He leaves behind a legacy of love and memories, survived by his devoted mother Bette-Jo Lovett, his brother Brian Lovett of Bristol, RI, his stepmother Amy Sherman of Canton, MA, and his beloved fiancé Christina Pelayo of Tucson, AZ. Corey also leaves behind aunts, uncles, and countless dear friends who will miss him dearly.



Corey's journey began in Natick, MA, where he spent his formative years before joining the Navy. His service took him to various corners of the globe, including Mississippi, Puerto Rico, and Sicily, where he found solace in the beauty of the islands.



Throughout his life, Corey shared a special bond with his beloved Dobermans, whom he adored. After his military service, he settled in Arizona, where he established his own successful construction business. Corey took immense pride in his craftsmanship and was known for his skill and dedication to his work.



Corey found joy in food and cooking, often drawing inspiration from culinary maestro Jacques Pépin. His gentle spirit and capacity for deep love touched the lives of all who knew him.



He mentored people in Tucson AZ and led many to be successful entrepreneurs in the construction business. Any acquaintances he made became great friendships. Corey had a heart of gold.



In accordance with his family's wishes, no formal services will be held. Those who wish to honor Corey's memory are invited to donate to the American Cancer Society in honor of his late father, who passed away from Leukemia in 2003. Corey's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
