Corey Lorenzo Washington

Corey Lorenzo Washington was born on November 16, 1973 in Saint Louis, Missouri to the union of John and Michelle Washington. Corey “Big Boy” Washington was the second child of three children (Martez, and LaVerle). Corey received his education in the St. Louis Public School System, graduating from Lindbergh High School. Corey also attended Florissant Valley Community College. Corey was employed many years with Missouri Department of Transportation (MODOT). Corey was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ at an early age. Corey departed this life on August 15, 2011 at 3:30 p.m. at DePaul Hospital. Corey “Big Boy” Washington leaves to cherish, his loving memories to: a wonderful devoted mother and father, John and Michelle Washington; two brothers, Martez (Laura) Jones and LaVerle (Yolonda) Washington; a loving grandmother, Edmonia “Judy Bell” Douglas; one niece, Shanigua Jones; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
