Corinne cared very much for the people around her and the cats she looked after. It was a privilege to know her. I will always remember what she would say to me as I left the shelter after my work: "Thanks for coming".
She will be missed.

I learnt of Corinne's passing through Rhiannon Fish, so I am here to pass on my deepest condolences to the Fish family and Cory's partner. I am so sorry for your loss and hope you will celebrate her life and hold memories of her close to your heart. Below is a short poem I read at my Nana's funeral;

The Lord reached down from heaven,
When a cure was not to be,
He wrapped his arms around her,
And whispered; Come to me.

So keep your arms around her Lord,
And give her special care,
Make up for all she suffered
And all that seems unfair

Although it broke our hearts to lose you,
You do not go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

My condolences to Corinne's family and friends. She was truly a compassionate woman who I had the privilege of volunteering with. She cared so much for all the animals at the shelter and knew every one by name (a testament to the depth of her caring). Her memory will live on in the hearts of all the people and creatures who knew her.

My thoughts and prayers are with Joel and Cory's family.

I am so sorry to learn that Cory has passed away. I was privileged enough to witness the love and strong bond that she shared with her husband Joel, through the constant Skype messages and late night phone calls from the office in Melbourne. My heart goes out to the family and especially Joel in this very difficult time.
