Anonomys friend from Martin Collegiate
October 14, 2013
Dear Corinne
Tonight I had a discussion with my son about death we've discussed it before, he seems fearful of many things taking his life at this age and his fears often surface at night. In the past we've discussed how important it is to live your life to its fullest and to never let fears of dying keep you from doing amazing things or enjoying your life. Tonight my son asked me about how many people I know that have passed and what it was like. Unlike so many people I've been lucky enough that I haven't lost a close family member or best friend but I talked to him first about his grandfather, then my childhood dog, Alannah and finally at great length we talked about you. I wanted to finish the conversation on the best possible note. I shared how kind and warm you were. How you never judged or hurt anyone. How optimistic and beautiful you were inside and out. I taught him that although we were never really close friends I'll never forget you because you were simply unforgettable. You made such an imprint on me. Its so hard to believe eight years have passed, I will always carry your memory with me and today you've helped me teach my son that sometimes really amazing people do die before they've grown old but they will live forever in the hearts they've touched.

its been almost 5 years since Corinnes passing and to this day i still find it unfair that she had to leave us...i first met Crinne in grade 2 at Rosemont and like every one else has already said...she was a caring beautiful girl who always thought of others before herself! she was extremely kind hearted and was an all around good person! I will always miss her and she will always be in my heart! hugs and kisses

Every year I think of Corinne, I'm sad that she's gone. I think that everything happens for a reason, and that god only takes the best. I looked up to Corinne. Ever since she's been gone i've tryed to be a better person like she was. Also it has tought me something important and that is: say I love you like you mean it, and hug your loved ones like it's the last time because you never know.
If everyone in this world had as much compassion as she did, this world would be a better place. I think that she was sent here to send a message. Clearly we've seen the impact a kind soul can have. I miss you Corinne. You have impacted a lot of people, and we all miss you.

I was secretary at Martin Collegiate for many years. Many students came and left during that time. Corinne was a lovely girl and I think of her often at this time of year. I wish you peace, knowing that you will see her again in Heaven. God Bless her lovely family.

To the Woolhether Family,
I had the pleasure of teaching Corrine on two different occasions during her years at Martin Collegiate. She was a joy to have in class where her smiling face brought a smile to everyone who saw her. She was a great addition to the school and all who met her are better for knowing her. She has left a lasting impression with me and she will continue to watch over us.

Dear Woolhethers Family and Friends,
I never had the pleasure of meeting Corinne but it was odvious that she touched many people in her short time on this earth. I happened to be in SICU dealing with something much less painful then what u are going through. She was a beautiful gurl and just seeing her picture was like a ray of sunshine. May your family get through this hard time with your heads help high. With love and prayers, Deidre

Corinne,
When I was little in gymnastics, Corinne acted like a mother to me. Whenever I needed help or just a shoulder to cry on, she was there with the best advice anyone could offer! She brightened my day with her bubbly personality and crazy ideas! She had such determination; she never gave up and always pushed the limits! Corinne was such an artistic and fun person. She cared for everyone around her and whenever someone needed a helping hand, she was always willing to help. Corinne, you were my role model. I miss your sparkling eyes and your positive outlook on life. You'll make a beautiful angel!
Love you!

I was shocked when I learned at gymnastics today of Corinne's passing. She was my daughters first coach at QCK and she loved her instantly. She was fortunate enough to have Corinne as her coach 3 times and enjoyed every minute of her time with her. She was a loving and patient teacher and my daughter thrived under her wing. To her family I can only say thank you for sharing your daughter with those of us fortunate enough to get to know Corinne. She will be missed.

Wow...I can't believe this Corinne is gone. I just graduated with her 4 months ago, its to unreal that she's gone. Where to start to describe her, she was an amazing, awesome, sweet, caring, loving, beautiful girl. Who had so much going for her. She was always there for you and always had the best advice. She never hated anyone, she was always nice to everyone and tried to be there for everyone, she made sure everyone came before her. We all know it wasn't her time to go, she's 18, but her number came up and she was next in line. We will all miss her, her smile, her laugh, her humour, everything. I'm sorry to her parents and family you raised a great daughter. We all love her and miss her. She will always be in all of our hearts and she will be looking beautiful as an Angel watching over us. Goodbye Corinne but not forever

Our thought and Prayers are with you all. I only met Corinne a few times, she worked with my daughter Michelle at Wheaton's.
A memory one Saturday after work Corinne was getting her hair streaked at my house and I was making supper nothing special Grayson Sausage and perogies one of them being Sauerkrauet, not everyone's favorite was her's. I came back through the kitchen and seen the bowls just about empty. There was a few Sauerkrauet perogies left. I asked for someone to please finish them up. She just reached forward and went OK.
My daughter and the staff and all she ever met through working at Wheaton's will miss her dearly.
When I first met Corinne she shy, but by the time supper rolled around it was like she had been here many times before.
She was a very likable person and will be missed.
Our prayers and our thoughts are with you in your time of sorrow.
Take care and God Bless

I am so sorry to hear about your loss.
It was such a joy to have known Corinne, even though it was such a brief time. She was a credit to you all. Beautiful and intelligent. Always willing to do whatever she could to help. She will be sorely missed
It is so devastating to think that a flame burning so brightly, can be extinguished so suddenly.
Even though she is not with us in person, she will always be with us in our memories and our hearts.
Even though I am so far away, I share your suffering. Distance does not make this any fairer or easier to deal with.
Hope you can find the strength in all these messages to ease the pain felt. Time is a great healer.

Dear Ralph, Edna & Family,
Al and I were deeply saddened to read in the Regina Leader-Post of the passing of your precious granddaughter Corinne. We did not know Corinne but I did know you Ralph and your wife Edna. I don't know if you will recall who I am. I worked with you at Hill Security Van Lines back in the late sixties early seventies. You were a very hard worker and much devoted to your big family. At this sad time in your life I felt I should extend my sympathy to you and your family. Upon reading the entries in the Guest Book it would appear that Corinne was so well thought of and loved by everyone. A beautiful young lady. Your family must be so proud of her!
Why does someone so young and has so much to live for be taken so soon? God wanted another angel in heaven. You all now have a Guardian Angel smiling down on you and watching over you from the heavens above. In that, I sincerely hope that you and your family can seek the much needed comfort you so deserve.
"A LIFE FULLY LIVED SHINES ON IN THE HEAVENS."
Wishing you a hand to hold when you feel down,
A star to wish on when dreams fill your heart and
A smile to cheer you when you need it most.
With our most sincere condolences,
You are in our thoughts and prayers,
DeeDee & Al Hunt

Corrine was one of those people who touched people in a way that few can. She was so special to us, she was an unbelievable best friend to Raeann, through good and bad and we all know that some times the bad was really bad. We always thought of Corrine as one of our daughters.
As Corrine touched each of our lives she left behind a beautiful light. When the news first arrived I watched the light go out in each of us. Once we were able to talk about Corrine we remembered just some of the sweet little things about her like: her love of animals; her love of the music, poetry and gym; her full acceptance of people without any prejudice; her love of children; always ensuring that everyone had what they needed before giving to herself; her fun loving spirit at family barbeques and functions; the way she would always make Rae smile in her lowest of times; and just being herself no matter what or who was applying the pressure. We are slowly being able to watch the light brighten remembering these wonderful times. She will be in our hearts, minds and souls for the rest of our lives. I cannot thank you enough, Joyce, Edwin and Matt, for sharing your daughter and sister with our family. You did an amazing job raising an amazing daughter.
Please call if you need anything ever.

QCK has lost a strong, caring gymnast and friend to everyone who was lucky enough to train in the gym at the same time as Corinne. I was always impressed with how Corinne felt toward the younger athletes with whom she trained. She never looked down on them, or became frustrated with their antics, instead she encouraged, mentored and supported them in their gymnastics. Her upbeat, sometimes off the wall personality kept us all on our toes and made training a fun event.
To Joyce, Edwin and Matt my thoughts and prayers are with your family - if you need anything your friends from the gym are here for you. Thank you for sharing your beautiful daughter with us for so many years.
